The start of it all...
Dog sitting is the foundation of Sherie's Sitting Service. I have been taking care of dogs for over 20 years. I have yet to encounter a dog that did not like me or get along with me. I know the secret to making friends! (Hint: Treats!)
The biggest endorsement I receive is when I visit and the dogs go wild when they see me. I have dog owners that tell me their pets are almost too happy when they leave, because they know they will be seeing Sherie!
Why am I so popular with these precious (and sometimes precocious!) pets and their parents?
I not only provide the routine sitting services such as feeding, watering, and walking, I also have many "fringe benefits." Is your dog a bit unruly? I'll work on it. Does your dog need medication or a special diet? I can make sure they get what they need. Young dogs, old dogs, I love 'em all! I also help out in a pinch; check out these things that have happened to me during my doggy watches:
- One dog jumped through a plate glass window after a rabbit while her owners were away. No problem - I boarded the window up and made sure the girl wasn't cut up.
- One of our older dogs I watch has trouble moving after laying down - I use a towel to help her up and around until she's not so stiff.
- I've noticed lumps on a dog and got him right into the vet while the owner was away - possibly even saving his life.
I am able to handle anything that comes up while your pet is in my care. I provide for your pet just as you would.
